A CHARTER ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A 2.00 MILL LEVY TO HELP DEFRAY THE COST OF UTILITIES FOR THE CITY OF THAYER MUSEUM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF THAYER, KANSAS:

SECTION 1. WHEREUPON, the City Council has determined that a mill levy needs to be established for the Museum Fund to help defray the costs of utility expenses.

SECTION 2. The governing Body of the City of Thayer, Kansas, is hereby authorized and empowered to establish and levy taxes in each year for the General Fund and other city purposes, but said Governing Body shall not fix a rate of levy in any one year on each dollar of assessed tangible valuation of said City more than the following named rate:
